Hi, my name is Darla. I have been an educator for 20 years. I am a certified teacher out of Atlanta, GA, USA. I have certifications in Early Childhood, Middle Grades and High School. I specialize in Early Childhood education. I work with a very diverse population in my classroom. I have several ESOL students in my classroom each year. I have worked with children from all over Asia and Europe. My certifications include elementary and special education (kindergarten through twelfth grades). I am married with two grown children. I look forward to working with you and your child.
For 25 min classes:
5 Classes = $105
10 Classes = $210 (=5/50 min classes)
20 Classes = $400
For 50 min classes:
These will be booked as 2- 25 minute classes.
A purchase of a Ten class (5 – 50 minute classes) package will be required.
I believe it’s important to share my expectations up front to avoid confusion or miscommunication. However, I’m always available to speak with parents if they have questions.
Parent Policies:
Please adhere to all Blue Sky Education Policies.
Communication: If your child cannot attend class within 12 hours of their scheduled class, please send a message to Teacher Darla, through the Blue Sky Education website or Via WeChat. We can reschedule your class for a different day and time, with no financial penalty.
Student No-Show: If your student does not arrive in class within the first 10 minutes, you will forfeit that class. Exceptions can be made for infrequent emergencies. Please communicate with Teacher Darla, as soon as possible, to reschedule.
Vacation: You will be notified at least two weeks in advanced if Teacher Darla is not able to teach during certain dates. These dates will be blocked on the booking schedule.
Late Students: Teacher Darla will wait in our classroom for the first 10 minutes of class. After 10 minutes, Teacher Darla will leave the classroom. The class will not be refunded or rescheduled.
Teacher Rescheduling: If Teacher Darla is sick or has a family emergency, your class will be rescheduled. Teacher Darla will make every effort to communicate with you, ahead of the scheduled class.
Internet and Computer Problems: If the student or teacher experience technical difficulties that prevent us from having class, we will reschedule your class. If we experience ongoing technical issues over several classes, we will work together to solve the problem. Our goal is for your student to experience learning in a fun, high quality, and distraction-free environment!
