Students will have the opportunity to improve writing skills using mentor texts in a variety of genres and topics.
A strong phonics foundation will lead to strong reading skills! I will provide an initial assessment of your child’s current phonics skills, then I will use this information to curate an individualized approach to their learning.
Let’s enrich your child’s reading skills with access to a popular, high-quality reading curriculum. Students will be exposed to a variety of reading genres and have the opportunity to practice and improve their intonation, fluency, comprehension skills, vocabulary, and more.
Let’s build your child’s English conversation skills through topic-centered chats. Topics will be pre-selected depending on the age and interests of the student.
Hello! I’m Miss Jaime, and I teach reading, English (ESOL), writing, phonics, and more with Blue Sky Education. I love teaching online! Getting to teach students from all over the world is so exciting! I look forward to creating a learning environment that includes personalized, one-on-one attention with your student. My goal is to help your child learn in an exciting and enjoyable way.
A little about me: I travel the US with my husband, son, two dogs, and cat. In my leisure time I love to spend time with family, read, play games, visit Disney World, and go hiking.

Qualifications:
- Education: Augustana University, Master's of Education in Elementary Education and Reading
- Licenses/Certifications: State of Florida Education License, K-12 and Reading Specialist
- Years of Teaching Experience: Seven in classroom, four+ online
- Numbers of Online Classes Taught: 2,600+
Class Prices
All classes are 25 minutes in length.
- Single Class: $25
- 10 Class Package = $220
- 20 Class Package = $420
- 30 Class Package = $600
- 50 Class Package = $950

I believe it’s important to share my expectations up front to avoid confusion or miscommunication. However, I’m always available to speak with parents if they have questions
- Adhere to all Blue Sky Education Policies.
- Communication: Please send a message through the Blue Sky website to Teacher Jaime if your child cannot come to class within 2 hours of our class time. We can reschedule for another day and time with no financial penalty.
- Student No-Show: If your child does not come to his or her class as scheduled, you will forfeit that class. Exceptions can be made for emergencies. Please communicate with Teacher Jaime as soon as you are able and we will work together to reschedule.
- Late Students: Teacher Jaime will stay in our classroom for the first 10 minutes of the class. If your student is not in the classroom at 10 minutes, Teacher Jaime will leave the classroom. The class will not be refunded or rescheduled.
- Teacher Rescheduling: If Teacher Jaime is sick or has a family emergency, your class will be rescheduled. Teacher Jaime will make every effort to communicate with you ahead of our scheduled class.
- IT issues: If we experience technical difficulties that keep us from having class, we will reschedule your course. If we experience ongoing technical issues over several classes, we will work together to solve the problem to ensure your student has the best classroom experience possible!

- 关于老师更改上课时间: 如果Jaime老师生病或家里有急事，该次课将可以重新约上课时间。Jaime老师会尽最大努力在上课前尽早提前通知家长进行安排。
- 关于IT技术问题: 如果在课堂上遇到不能解决的技术故障问题导致课程无法进行，我们可以重新约上课时间。如果我们在几次课上连续出现技术故障以致于课程不能正常进行，我们可以一起努力解决问题，从而确保学员能最大可能地获得最佳的上课体验!
