Blue Sky Education, LLC Refund And Subscription Policies
It’s important to us at Blue Sky Education, LLC that parents, teachers and students are satisfied with the live, one-on-one classes, educational products, and curriculum subscriptions they purchase. To ensure transparency and fairness, we have implemented the following refund and subscription policies.
LIVE CLASSES:
A written refund request must be submitted to:
admin@blueskyeducationcooperative.com
within the first 5 classes of a class package or within 14 calendar days of the date of purchase, whichever comes first.
If applicable, teachers will have 30 calendar days to refund the cost of the package in the following manner:
If the funds have not yet been transferred to the teacher, Blue Sky Education, LLC (BSE) will refund the purchase price minus a 5% processing fee.
If funds have been transferred to the teacher and no classes have been taught, the teacher must return the funds to BSE’s Stripe account. BSE will then refund the parent minus the teacher fees already assessed and an additional 5% processing fee.
If funds have been transferred and some classes have been taught, the teacher will deduct the number of completed classes (billed at their regular per-class rate) from the total package cost and return the balance to BSE’s Stripe account. BSE will then refund the remaining balance to the parent, minus any teacher fees already assessed and a 5% processing fee.
Note: Classes already taught will be charged at their full, non-discounted rate. Teachers are not responsible for refunding processing or platform fees assessed by BSE.
DOWNLOADABLE + DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Refunds will not be issued for any downloadable or streamed content, including but not limited to:
Ollie’s Stellar Readers™ (OSR)
Printable or digital teaching materials
Flashcards
Trackers and booklets
Pre-recorded lessons or demonstration videos
Due to the nature of digital conduct, all purchases are final once delivered. Please review product descriptions and previews carefully before purchase.
Subscription Policy
Recurring Billing: Subscriptions are billed automatically on a recurring basis (monthly, annual, or other cycles as specified at checkout).
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will stop future billing, but access to the curriculum will continue until the end of the period already paid for.
Payment Failures: If a payment method fails, the system will attempt to reprocess the payment. If the payment cannot be completed, access to the subscription will end automatically. (Note: We aim to provide a short grace period where the system retries your card before canceling access. The exact length of this grace period may depend on our payment processor’s capabilities.)
Refunds: Because subscriptions provide immediate access to digital curriculum, subscription payments are non-refundable. In extraordinary circumstances (such as the death of a subscriber), Blue Sky Education, LLC may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund. Requests for extraordinary refunds must be submitted in writing to admin@blueskyeducationcooperative.com.
License and Access
Subscription Access: Curriculum subscriptions are licensed to a single teacher for use across their own classes. Subscription accounts may not be shared with other teachers, classrooms, or organizations.
Ollie’s Stellar Readers™ (OSR): Licensing for OSR products varies by product type and is detailed in the product description at checkout (e.g., parent bundles for one household, teacher bundles for use with up to 30 students). Customers are responsible for reviewing and following the license terms attached to their purchase.
Printing and Copies: Teachers and parents may print materials as allowed under the license described in the product they purchase. Product descriptions specify limits where applicable.
No Resale or Redistribution: Blue Sky Education content, including Explorers Curriculum and Ollie’s Stellar Readers™, may not be resold, uploaded to third-party platforms, distributed publicly, or shared on social media without prior written permission.
Account Sharing: Access to Blue Sky Education’s curriculum is tied to the purchaser’s account. Sharing login credentials, redistributing materials, or unauthorized use outside the license scope may result in suspension or termination of access.
