Blue Sky Education, LLC Refund Policy

It’s important to us at Blue Sky Education, LLC that parents and students are happy with the live, one-on-one classes they purchase. In order to ensure our customers are happy, we have implemented the following guidelines for requesting a refund.

 A written request for refund must be submitted to admin@blueskyeducationcooperative.com by the purchaser within the first 5 classes of a class package or within 14 calendar days of the date of purchase–whichever comes first.

Where it applies, teachers will have 30 calendar days to refund the cost of the package in the following manner:

  1. If a parent requests a refund and the funds have not been transferred to the teacher, Blue Sky Education, LLC (BSE) will refund the purchase price minus a 5% processing fee.
  2. If a parent requests a refund but the funds have already been transferred to the teacher and no classes have been taught, the teacher will resend the funds to BSE’s Stripe account for the full amount the teacher was paid. Teachers are not responsible for refunding the fees charged by BSE. BSE will then transfer the funds back to the parents minus the teacher fees already assessed plus an additional 5% processing fee.
    1. If a parent requests a refund but the funds have already been transferred to the teacher and any number of classes have been taught, the teacher will deduct the number of classes already taught- at their regularly-priced class rate – from the package total and refund the remaining balance to BSE’s Stripe account. 

    NOTE: Classes already taught from the package will not be given the discounted rate that usually is earned with a package purchase. Teachers are not responsible for refunding the fees taken by BSE. BSE will then transfer the funds back to the parents minus the teacher fees already assessed plus an additional 5% processing fee.

Refunds will not be issued on downloadable or streamed video content, including but not limited to pre-recorded classes and demonstration videos.
